Who is she?

Ming Bagaforo is an Art Director, Podcaster and Small Business owner from Manila, Philippines now based in Dubai UAE. She helps create engaging ads and content in the daytime, paints on really tiny canvases at night, and speaks her mind to whoever is interested on the weekends.

Born in Iloilo City in Panay Island, she dreamed for bigger things and moved to the country’s capital, Manila, for a college education. She went against the more financially stable route and took up Fine Arts. Without looking back, she charged forward and graduated in 2014.

Since then, she has been coasting through the city girl life as a struggling graphic artist. With work experience in the Fashion, Beauty and E-commerce industry under her belt, she finally settled into the wonderful world of an in-house creative agency in the biggest telecom company in her country.

Ming was awarded:
“Creative Rockstar of the Year” by the Head of Creative Development (under MARCOMM) in Globe Telecom PH on December 2020.

”From copywriting to art direction, creative planning to final presentation, she is recognized for having a stellar performance in every step of the way.”

When the world was taken over by a global pandemic, she had this great idea of starting her own business. With commuting and social gatherings out of her way, she now had all the free time to fill.

So CLAWED by Ming was born. Her frustration with bad quality press-on

nails pushed her to start making her own. The one-woman-run account
has since garnered almost 4K followers on Instagram and has produced more
than a thousand sets by October 2021. She had designed all of the collaterals
and marketing materials, including some seasonal and exclusive merch.

She is also her own social media manager. From editing videos, curating
her feed, to customer service, and even seeding to influencers,
she does it all. You can say that CLAWED is her pride and joy.

Now based in the UAE, Ming is now doing her magic in the F&B and Hospitality industry. Working for known brands like Lock, Stock & Barrel, STK, KOYO, The 305, Asia Asia and opening soon, PAPAS Italian, she has finally settled in the sandpit.
